• EXTRA MATERIAL •

Here is extra material for the larp that isn't strictly necessary to read. It might be more in-depth setting information, background material or stuff that may help inspire. In case you have tips about songs or games that could be nice for people to know about for the game, send them to us and they'll be added here!

Extra information about the setting

Songs

The following things can be said for song culture that may be relevant for the game:
• Lenorian songs are usually cheerful or inspire to courage – melancholic songs are rare and it is said that signing about death brings bad luck. For example Irish folksongs or sea shantys can be used as inspiration.
• Songs in Norn are very similar to Lenorian ones, but have much more somber heroic tones – very befitting the rainy and gloomy nation.
• Seran songs are seldom mirthful, focusing more on the skill of the performance. Usually sung solo rather than in groups.
• Javenian songs follow two rules: often and with gladly. The traditions are too many to describe, but mostly they sing about the joys and pleasures of life. Humor is greatly appreciated.
• Mountainborn songs are almost always wordless and they like including improvised instruments.
